Thompsen
Sidwell Thompsen, 40, of Vienna, died Wednesday, February 13, 1980, at Fairfax Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Money and King Funeral Chapel, Vienna, with burial in Sperryville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife Karen A. Thompsen; a son Rois Sidwell Sievert Thompsen of Front Royal; a daughter, Lorrie Ann Andrews of Front Royal; His mother. Elizabeth M. Thompsen of Sperryville, and two brothers, Richard G. Thompsen of Oak Park, 111., and Robert Thompsen of Vienna.

Truman Keesey of Washington will assist Red Cross Fund Chairman. Mrs. Alyce Russell of Warrenton with the annual canvass this spring. Keesey will be the representative for Rappahannock which is a part of the Fauquier Chapter American Red Cross.
Keesey said he will need lots of help in the county and asks anyone interested in assisting to please call him at 675-3818. He added that an organizational meeting is scheduled for Friday, February 29 at 10 a.m. in the Senior Center on Culpeper Street in Warrenton.
Red Cross funds are available in the event of floods, fires and for manyother purposes, said Keesey. We never know when we will have an emergency and need aid ourselves, he added.
