Promoted
Flonqy C. Chambers, whose wife. Annie, lives in Amissville. recently was promoted to Army staff sergeant while serving as an information specialist with the U. S. Army Garrison. Vint Hill Farms Station. Warrenton. Va.
The appointing orders for this promotion stated “...The Secretary of the Army has placed special trust and confidence in this soldier's patriotism, valor, fidelity and abilities."
The promotion was based upon these qualities and the demonstrated potential for increased responsbilities.
Chambers entered the Army in May 1974. He attended the Community College of Baltimore.
