As biology teacher at RCHS. I must respond to Mr. Mundy’s critical reference to the hanging plants in the biology room.
Some of his criticisms may be justified. But to suggest that these problems are the result of poor spending priorities depicts ignorance at best. From my experience at RCHS. establishing worthwhile priorities isn’t the problem. Finding funds is the problem.
During each of my four years at RCHS. school funtU have contributed between $100 and $150. Students themselves have contributed between $200 and $250 in the form of a $2.00 lab fee. The remaining $200 to $300 came out of the teacher’s pocket.
