To the editor:
This letter comes to you as a plea. Yop all know about the tragic fire which has almost destroyed the fire house. The fire engines and ambulances were saved, but everything else—except the metal outer walls—are devastated. Both the firemen and their rescue squad do everything that is physically possible for them to do.
They have no radio equipment nor telephone, but at the present time, neighboring fire companies and rescue squads are accepting their calls.
