Market
To the editor:
Arlington County is opening a farmers’ market on Saturday. May 31. and many of us who live in the county can hardly wait for that day. We hope that amongst the readers of the Rappahannock News are farmers who will be interested in selling some of their produce at our market.
The market will be open every Saturday between 7 a.m. and noon until the end of October. It will be located at the corner of 14th Street North and North Court House Road on Court House grounds.
The place selected for it should be convenient for both buyers and sellers. It should not be difficult to bring produce to because it is only two blocks from an exit to Route 50.
Customers will also find it easy to get to as it is only a block from a Metro station a/nd a major bus line. There is also ample free parking on ^/Saturdays in the nearby 'I county parking lot.
