Mrs. Catharine Clifford of Silver Spring, Md., spent several days recently with Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Wood. The Woods visited Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Filyo in Wheaton, Md., during the weekend.
C. G. Thornhill of Richmond and Miss Melanie Thornhill of University of Virginia spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill.
W. B. Carter and his daughter, . Mrs. Dwight Piapin of Front Royal, were ^ Wednesday luncheon guests ' of Mr. and Mrs. George Johnston. Their Friday callers were Mrs. Ashby Thornhill and Linda.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thornhill and Robbie of Vienna were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill. Other luncheon guests on Sunday were Miss Cindy Kopjanski of Roanoke, Mr. and Mrs. David Thornhill of Woodville, Roger Chapman of Culpeper, Delma Coates and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thornhill and family. Mrs. Cary Thornhill was an overnight guest Monday of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Morrison and Mr. Morrison in Winchester.
