Rappahannock County Game Warden Jim Bankston has announced the names and locations of gamechecking stations in the county. Bear, deer and turkey killed must be checked.
Stations named are H & J Grocery and Sperryville Exxon, both at Sperryville; Bradford’s Store at Flint Hill; Williams’ Grocery, Chester Gap; Jenkins’ Garage at Amissville and Baldwin’s Grocery at Washignton.

Carnival
The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department announced this week that its annual carnival will be held at a new time nfext vear.
In accordance with a vote taken at the department’s recent meeting, the carnival is scheduled to run from Tuesday, June 30, through Saturday. July 4.
‘‘We’re hoping this annual fund raising event will be bigger and better than ever with the change in dates." said a department spokesman.

They Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Sunday School Union will meet Sunday, October 12. at noon for theri 236th quarterly session at the Bethel Baptist Church in Amissville. All churches belonging to the union are requested to be represented. The public is invited.
