A lack of respect for teachers and other adults can lead to a lack of respect for police, judges, legislators, other authority figures and even to the law itself. Children who don’t respect and discipline their bodies may give in to poor eating habits, smoking, drugs and sexual disappointment. Children who have no respect for property may take what they want as shoplifters, or break what they want as vandals. Poor discipline < habits can lead to juvenile delinquency, which in turn may lead to adult crime. All these things we want our children to avoid are reason enough to discipline them as they grow.

Children who respect money and manage it wisely "ill better manage a budget and respect life’s material things. Children who respect others will find happiness in the respect of others. Children who do their homework will fee| accomplishment.
