SCA Reporter* The senior class will be having a car wash on October 11 and October 18 as a fundraising project for the senior trip. The car wash will be at Rappahannock County High School from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the price at S2.00 per car.
The senior ring dance is scheduled for October 17 featuring the Royal Tones. Officers for the senior class this year are Ronda Wiley, president; Kathy Romine, vice president Dora Lee Chadwell, secretary and Paula Butler, treasurer. Brion Patterson, Ms. Mills and Mrs. Bristol are sponsors for the 1981 graduating class.
On September 22 the Lady Panthers basketball team played Brentsville Tigers at home. Sandy Wines, scoring 28 points, broke the individual scoring record which was 25 points set by Jamelle Prudhum in previous years. The final score of the varsity game was 53-47 in favor of Rappahannock.
Melissa Turner was an outstanding player for the JV, leading the Panthers to a 24-22 victory over the Tigers.
Last week the Panthers had two away games, with William Monroe and Stonewall. September 30 they played William Monroe which ended in a Rappahannock JV victory 24-22 and a varsity defeat. 44-60. Thursday the girls went to Stonewall where they were defeated by the Generals, 4280 and the JV were downed 41-21. The Varsity ladies
