Bailey
Edward Homer Bailey Jr., 4(j, of Washington, died Thursday, October 2, 1980, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Washington by the Rev. Wendell Grant. Burial was in the Bailey family cemetery at Amissville.
Mr. Bailey was employed with the Bailey Construction Company.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joan B. Bailey of Washington; one son, Edward H. Bailey III of Rixeyville; three daughters, Mrs. Cheryl B. Gaskins of Jeffersonton, Miss Sheila A. Bailey, currently at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, and Miss Belinda M. Bailey of Washington; his parents, Edward H. and Ethel V. Bailey and his grandmother, Mrs. Josephine Timbers, all of Washington.
Others surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Mary Brown of Seat Pleasant, Md., Mrs. Jeannette Rawls of Jen kin town. Pa., Mrs. Marie Davis and Mrs. Patricia Norwood, both of Washington; a brother, Robert H. Bailey of Luray, and four grandchildren.
