Priest
James Booten Priest, 83, of Amissville died Sunday, May 10, 1981 at Oak Springs Nursing Home in Warrenton.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at Amissville Baptist Church with burial in the !church cemetery. The service was conducted by Elder Elmer Skeens of Palmyra and Rev. J. S. Stirman.
Mr. Priest was the son of the late Jackoliner Payne and Mason Priest and was a lifelong resident of Amissville. He was a member and deacon of Battle Run Primitive Baptist Church and' was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Susie Hitt Priest; a son, Charles Robert Priest of Amissville; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Rhodes of Dale City and six grandchildren.
