The dance concert of May 16th and 17th will contain, a variety of short works ranging from classical to modern ballet. Local dancers include: Laura Crowne, artistic director of the Warrenton Moving Arts Center; Robyn Hart, dance teacher at Shenandoah College and Conservatory of Music in Winchester; Caroline Conway of Linden; Shari Nicholls and Denise Eastham of Front Royal; and Kay Bowser of Winchester.

Mrs. W.H. Cordle was hostess to the Sperryville Bridge Club Friday evening at her home.

Guests were Mrs. Dale Metzinger, Mrs. E.A. McNear, Mrs. C.E. Johnson, Jr., Mrs. Charles H. Estes, Mrs. Mary Quaintance, Mrs. Carroll Quaintance, Mrs. I.R. Kilby. Mrs. Field Benton, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. R.E. Thompsen and Mrs. T.J. Pillar.

Prizes were won by Mrs. Johnson. Mrs. Pillar and Mrs. Miller.
