Bouquets
Dear Editor:
Such was the excitement Saturday night on stage at the conclusion of the last performance of Peter Pan (for the present, anyway) that a heart-warming fact got lost in the course of explaining the first of many bouquets given and received in the Darling’s nursery.
This first bouquet was designed, because it consisted of a flower for each member iof the cast as well as other indispensable contributors to the overall production, to express the enjoyment of an appreciative couple in the county who had seen Peter Pan and wanted to applaud the effort of every individual of the team, in the traditional way, with flowers. It was a very thoughtful gesture and I am happy to report it.
I would like also to thank here several friends in the community who responded generously to my wife or to me with properties which aided the production immensely.
