A 17 cent per share cash dividend was voted May 6 at the F & M National Corporation regular monthly meeting of the board of directors.
The second quarter dividend is payable June 29 to shareholders of record May 29.

Author and lecturer Marianne Fischer will speak at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church quarterly Brotherhood meeting at 8 p.m. on Thursday. May 14.
Mrs. Fischer was a member of a Jewish family living in Budapest, Hungary, at the outbreak of World War II. Her story is full of touching anecdotes of how she survived the holocaust of Nazi persecution, and how i»h« • found JesutvdShe hli recently published a book called “My Story."
Mrs. Fischer now lives in Philadelphia, where she is a photographer for the University of Pennyslvania.
Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church is located on Route 522, south of Woodville. The public is cordially invited to hear Mrs. Fischer's testimony.
