Mrs. ratty irene naruey Emmel of Washington, D. C. died Wednesday, May 6, 1981 at the Washington Hospital Center following an auto accident.
Funeral services were conducted at the Jeffersonton Baptist Church Saturday by the Rev. Neil Ellis and the Rev. Charles Perry. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Emmel was a native of Fauquier County and the daughter of Mrs. Una H. Murphy of Rixeyville and the late John J. Hartley.
