Playhouse
Needed
To the editor: The Rappahannock Players would like to take this opportunity to thank Freeman Allan, Manager of The Mountain Magic Cinema and Theatre and William E. Lynn, Jr., Headmaster of The Wakefield School for their cooperation in permitting us to use their facilities. We anticipate that our October production of “Harvey” at the Country Playhouse, the Wakefield School, will be as big a success as were "H.M.S. Pinafore”, “Refugee” and “Peter Pan” which were staged at Mountain Magic Cinema and Theatre. Without the cooperation of these gentlemen we would not be able to provide theatrical entertainment to our friends and neighbors.
We are seeking a permanent home for the Rappahannock Players and are actively looking for a suitable structure (barn, church, auditorium, etc.) which can be converted or renovated to a theatre, or a plot of land upon which a structure could be built. If anyone knows of such a place we would appreciate your contacting us.
