Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Cloe Jr., Weedon and Beth of Stafford were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar. Mrs. Judson T. Smith, who has been a house guest of the Pillars, returned to Norfolk Saturday accompanied by Mrs. W. H. Cordle who visited Mr. and Mrs. David Cordle andi daughter in Williamsburg.

Mrs. T. M. Johnston, Mrs. Catherine Brown and Teresa McLawhorn were Thursday dinner guests of Mrs. Mary Quaintance. Monday luncheon guests were Martha Alther of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Rex Lindstrom of Washington.

Robert Thompsen of Oak Park, 111. was a houseguest for several days of his mother, Mrs. R. E. Thompsen. They were joined Saturday by another son, Richard Thompsen, Mrs. Thompsen and family of Vienna.

Saturday guests of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins were Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Stuart White of Rectortown, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Johnson of Fairmont, W. Va.

Denise Wingfield, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Wingfield, has returned to James Madison University, Harrisonburg.
