Registration for Girl Scouts in the Brownie and Junior troops will be held at the Rappahannock County Elementary School on Wednesday, September 9, from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. The Brownies will go to the school cafeteria and the Juniors will meet in the auditorium. All girls who register must be accompanied by a parent or an adult. The registration fee is $3 and each girl staying after school for the registration should return the written permission form (signed by her parent) to her homeroom teacher on the morning of September 9.

The Rev. Young and his congregation from Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church near Gainesville will be guests at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Woodville on Sunday, September 6, at 3 p.m. The program is sponsored by Mrs. Minnie Brokenburr and the public is invited.
