To assist interested persons in developing their responses, the planning team will hold a series of open houses in Albemarle, Augusta, Warren, Greene, Page, Rockingham, Madison and Rappahannock counties. The meeting here is set for Tuesday, September 29, from 2-5 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. . at the Rappahannock elementary school.
Copies of the draft plan are available locally at the clerk’s office and the Rappahannock County Library.
Superintendent Jacobsen noted that "several levels of National Parks Service management and staff have worked hard for the last three years to outline the various possibilities for future management of Shenandoah.
