He noted, however, that according to testimony «i volunteered by Albert I Gatewood as part of a plea I bargain agreement, Martin | confessed to setting the fire. Robertson recalled that four defense witnesses questioned ' Gatewood’s truthfulness. “But the jury accepted his testimony,” the judge added.
