Mr. and Mrs. Larry Jolliffe, Kevin and April, Miss Tammy Jolliffe and Ben Mallory spent last week at Kings Dominion.
Mrs. Gladys Jolliffe, Mrs. Shirley Dodson and Mrs. Gladys Dodson were Wednesday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Stringfeilow and family in Culpeper and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Will Alther.
Mrs. Roberta Woodward of Warrenton spent the weekend with her brother-inlaw and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Smith.
Mrs. Alice Grigsby of Flint Hill was a Sunday afternoon caller of Mr. and Mrs. Acrey Dodson.
Revival
Revival services will be held at Gid Brown Bible Church near Washington September 7-13 each evening at 7:30. The guest speaker will be Evangelist Jerry Whiteheart from Myrtle Beach, S. C.
There will be special singing each evening, a nursery will be provided and transportation can be arranged by calling the pastor, John K. Burke, Jr. at 675-3662. The public is cordially invited.
Yard Sale
The Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary will have a yard sale at the Sperryville Emporium on Saturday and Sunday, September 5 and 6, beginning at 10 a.m. each day. Donations would be greatly appreciated.
Baldwin Reunion
The annual Baldwin reunion will be held Saturday, September 5, at the Rappahannock Recreation Center from 9 a.m. onto 5 p.m. Come early, bring a picnic lunch and plan to eat at 1 p.m. AH relatives and friends are invited.
