Buntin also took part in the proceedings, the high point of the gifted and talented program’s law seminar. Youngsters from the elementary and high schools who researched the case under the direction of local attorneys and then played the roles of defense, prosecution and witnesses included Eric Bear, Joe McCullough, Peggy Stevenson, Lori Frye, Dawn and Jonathan Watson, Elizabeth Jenkins, Sean Wayland, James Dennis and Edwin Eastham.
