Miller noted that a pipe had burst near Emily Miller’s home, and that it was the same type of plastic pipe that seemed to cause most of the breaking and leaking problems.
Hawkins said that the weather had been too cold to make repairs to the street signs and that no progress had been made on the sign for the town hall but that she would check into it. Hawkins also pointed out the need to clean out the town ditches after heavy March and April winds. Council members agreed that this would be necessary.
Miller told Council members that Sharon Luke would appear at the next meeting to discuss the firehouse renovation. Council members noted that their terms were up and that election for council emmbers would be held Tuesday. May 4.
