To the editor:
I am writing in reference to the article in last week’s paper headed Wingfield Demoted To Classroom.
In this article Robert Estabrook was quoted as saying. “Wingfield has demonstrated that he does not have confidence in the school board.” I don’t know if this is how Mr. Wingfield feels but I for one have never had confidence in the school board. Confidence is like trust. It is something that has to be earned; it isn’t given to you.
As for lack of flexibility and poor professional' judgement. I’ve never seen this in Mr. Wingfield. Speaking as a past student, I can say that he was always fair. He may not agree wjth
everything you say but he Wilf hear you out and tell you his side.
Mr. Wingfield is a man I have always looked up to and respected. A person’s name or position has never influenced his decisions. The students at RCHS are treated
