Sperryville Ladies To Meet The Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary will meet on Monday, April 4, at 7 p.m. at the fire hall. Election of officers for 1983 will be held and all members are urged to attend. Ladies in the area interested in joining the auxiliary are invited.

Auxiliary Meeting The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall. Last minute ideas for the April 9 banquet will be discussed. All members are urged to attend.

Homemakers To Meet The Washington Extension Homemakers will meet on Thursday, March 31, at 1 p.m. at Margaret Tucker’s residence. Visitors are cordially invited to the meeting. For further information call 675-3619.

Nothing To Do? Benefit Dinner Planned The Sperryville Ladies Auxiliary will serve a dinner of home cooked food on Saturday, April 16, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the fire hall, The menu includes ham, parsley potatoes, sauerkraut, pinto beans, stewed tomatoes, baked apples, homemade biscuits, com muffins, desserts and beverages all for $6 for adults and $3 for children. Carry out service will be available from 4:30 until 5:15 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Sperryville Comer Store, Sperryville Emporium, West End Shell and Parkway Gift Shop and from members of the auxiliary. Amissville Baptist & Forest Grove The Amissville Baptist and Forest Grove Baptist Churches will sponsor a Good Friday Community Service at the Amissville Baptist Church on Friday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m. Reverend A.C. Walker, pastor at Forest Grove, will be the speaker and special music will be brought by the Amiasville Baptist Choir. Everyone is welcome.
