Mrs. Susie Jenkins Woodward, 76, of Brightwood died Friday, March 25, 1983, in a Charlottesville Hospital.
Mrs. Woodward was bom in Page County on June 29,1906, and was the daughter of the late Isaac and Mary Alice Barker Jenkins.
Survivors include her husband, Andrew Jackson Woodward; four daughters, Mrs. Rosa Elswick of Brightwood, Mrs. Betty Woodward of Madison, Mrs. Lida Sisk of Culpeper and Mrs. Carrie Woodward of Banco; six sons, Lonie Woodward of Banco, Glenn Woodward of Des Plains, 111., Gene Woodward of Brightwood, Ross Woodward of Ruckersville, Mack Woodward of Washington and Hoover Woodward of Culpeper.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Virgie Jenkins of Luray and Mrs. Bertha Fellers of Ransom, West Virginia; 49 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Culpeper by the Rev. George Johnson. Burial was in the Thoroughfare Community Chapel Cemetery.
