Without Policy

There is a growing concern among environmentalists in Virginia about the depth of commitment of the Robb administration to an effective environmental protection policy.
Indeed, there is a suspicion that the state’s policy may be less addressed to protecting the environment than to protecting the business community from the environmentalists.
It should be said at the outset that expressions of this concern do not come from “flower children” in tattered jeans, T-shirts and sandals. They are being heard from professionals in the field, academicians and members of the General Assembly.
