Just off the presses, the Rappahannock County Women’s Club’s new cookbook, “Traditions, Recipes from 150 Years of Country Living in Rappahannock County,” is now available.
In addition to recipes from some of Rappahannock’s finest cooks, the book features original drawings of historic county homes by local artists.
“Traditions” may be purchased for $6.95 at offices and businesses around the county, including the Rappahannock news office, Washington Cash Store, the Beauty Box and Rappahannock National Bank in Washington, the Comer Store and the Emporium in Sperryville and the Flint Hill Storehouse and Comer’ Post Restaurant in Flint Hill. The Community Concert Association sent out mem>ership renewal letters for he upcoming season on 4arch 16. It is now time for ill members to renew. “Con:erts have to be paid for in April, therefore it is most mportant that all subscripions be in by April 17,” said 4rs. Paul Frantz, mem•ership chairman for Rappatannock.
The 1983-84 season offers four concerts: troubaiour Bill Schustik, toccatas ind flourishes by organ and rumpet, painist and singer Robert Carpenter and the Welsh Choir of Cardiff.
The last concert of the [982-83 season will be the Empire Brass Quintet’s perbrmance on April 17.
