Page found that revenge can be so satisfying as they redeemed their earlier 9-8 defeat at the hands of the blue and gold, page’s southpaw on the mound managed to retire all nine Rappahannock batters consecutively in the first three innings.

Page’s first run came in the third on a mental error by Rappahannock’s first baseman. The ball was hit . into center field an<J on the relay, the cutoff man held the ball too long, preventing a play at home and allowing the home team to take a 1-0 lead.
Rapp’s first hit came in the fourth on a Porter single. Showing off his blazing speed, Porter stole his way to third base. But he didn’t get any help from his teammates at the plate and the inning ended with Porter stuck on third.
