RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, it has pleased the Almighty to take from us to his great reward our friend and fellow-Director, Theodore C. Barron, and WHEREAS, Theodore C. Barron served as a member of the Board of Directors of Northern Piedmont Electric Cooperative from August 1958 thru December, 1979, and WHEREAS, Theodore C. Barron was a member of the incorporating Board of Directors of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative and served in that capacity until his death on February 28,1983, and WHEREAS, Theodore C. Barron unselfishly devoted his time and talents to those activities that he judged to be in the best interest of his fellow cooperative members, his community and mankind, and WHEREAS, we the surviving members of the Board of Directors of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative will no longer be able to share his life as we knew it, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that we the members of the Board of Directors of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative do hereby acknowledge the service that Theodore C. Barron afforded to the members of our Cooperative through his service as a Director, and That we express to his family our sympathy and our feeling of sharing in their great loss. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be spread upon the minutes of the meeting of the Board of Directors of Rappahannock Electric Cooperative held this day, March 16, 1983, that copies be published in "The Culpeper Star Exponent”, "The Rappahannock News" and "Rural Living" and that a copy be sent to his family.
