Donna Leigh Williams received her Associate in Applied Science Degree from Lord Fairfax Community College at the commencement ceremony held on May 28.
During college, Donna received the Presidential Scholarship. She was second runner up in the 1982 “Miss Lord Fairfax” pageant, was secretary of the Student Government Association and a member of the College Senate.
Donna has also been named to the Dean’s List for the spring quarter in which she earned a 3.4 in a 4.0 scale. Donna is a 1981 graduate of Rappahannock County High School and is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Williams of Chester Gap.

George L. Sims received a Bachelor of Music degree from George Mason University in Fairfax at commencement exercises on Saturday, May 21. He graduated with distinction. <• George, son of Mrs. Norman E. Sims, Jr. and the late Mr. Sims, lives in Washington, Virginia with his wife, Christine and daughter, Emily.
