“All are invited to contribute,” emphasized William Carrigan, one of the organizers behind the effort. “We want letters and pictures from the school children of today to the school children of 100 years from now, telling them what they think about school, studies, sports, and what it’s like to live in 1983.
“We want letters and pictures from the people of Rappahannock, telling why they are here, what they think about this land, what they do here, what they would like to see happen here to preserve this land for their great-greatgreat grandchildren.”
The committee in charge of the time capsule is also asking for letters,
