The wedding of Anthony (Tony) Wayne Jenkins and Brenda Southard took place at 4 o'clock on Saturday. June 4, 19S3. at Thornton’s Gap Regular Baptist Church near Sperry ville.

The Rev. Kirby Shenk of Luray performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Southard of Castleton.

The groom is the son of Wayne Jenkins and Virginia C. Jenkins, both of Sperryville. He is also the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Clatterbuck of Sperryville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Jenkins.

The bride wore a longwhite satin dress with lace sleeves and carried a bouquet of white and yellow daisies.

Margie Menefee of Sperryville was maid of honor and wore a long yellowdress. She carried a bouquet of white carnations.

Steve Davis of Luray and Don Bright of Sperryville served as best men.

A reception followed at the home of the groom and approximately 40 attended.
