4-H Camps
It’s that time of year again to sign up for 4-H Day Camp and 4-H Overnight Camps. Children should have received forms through school, but if they have been lost, we have more at the Extension Office.
4-H Day Camp, July Ills - To be held at Camp Hazel River in* Boston. Cost is $7 for the. entire week. Please sigm up and pay by June 10. We .hope to offer crafts, swimming, fishing, woodworking, and recreation.
4-H Overnight Camp, August 1-5 - For those who have completed 4th, 5th and 6th grades. We will be camping with Orange County again this year. Cost for this camp is $50 for the week. The camp has much more to offer this year as compared to last year and last year was great! Rappahannock County can send only 40 children to this camp, so please sign up immediately. We have forms at the office. Archery, canoeing, swimming, first-aid, arts and crafts, volleyball, baseball, basketball, tennis, and woodworking will be offered. Please sign up by July 15th.
4-H Overnight Camp, August 8-12 - For students who have completed 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. We will be camping with several counties. The theme for this camp is “Careers.” We hope to offer classes in comput
