Library needs
volunteers
Do you like books? People? A few choice positions are open at the Rappahannock County Library for volunteers willing to work one half-day each week. Duties include meeting the public, answering the telephone, shelving books and magazines, alphabetizing and filing cards, and typing letters and booklists.
Applicants should be dependable, with a limber body and good eyesight. If you qualify, see or telephone Dee Brents, 675-3780.

Christopher and Becky Parrish of Viewtown announce the birth of a daughter, Amelia Jane Parrish.
The 6-pound, 13 1/2-ounce girl arrived on Saturday, September 20, at 2:25 p.m. at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Parrish of Viewtown and Mr. and Mrs. James Williams of Springfield. The baby’s paternal grandmother is Mrs. Alfred D. Chandler of Wilmington, Del.
