The musicians performing in RAAC’s concert are among the best of scores of Rappahannock music makers. How did the Blue Ridge foothills get to be alive with the sound of music? “It’s the country life style,” maintains Terry Waggener. “People in the country have to create their own entertainment - something they can do at home alone or with a few friends.”

On September 27 in the Gay Street Theater in Washington, Rappahannock’s musicians will share that entertainment with new friends. Tickets for the 8 p.m. performance will be sold at the door$5 for RAAC members, $6 for the general public and $4 for students.
