There are no words that can express my gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful celebration in my honor that was held at Rappahannock County Elementary School on Saturday evening. It was well worth admitting that I had been hanging around for 80 years to have such a delightful birthday party given for me.
Thank all of you for all the wonderful things you did; for what you said, as well as what you didn’t say, about me; for your generous donations to the Scholarship Fund; for your birthday cards, telephone calls, and person to person birthday wishes; for unlimited amounts of delicious desserts and beverages and for those who helped to serve them; for the lovely flowers and corsages, and most of all for coming and for being such thought
