The Lord is my strength, g 3 Only if I trust him and do or live# a his word as James said in James* £ 1.22. Then it says, he is my song. 5 0 In other words, he is my joy and# £ peace. I must fall deeply in loveS A with him. To love him you must* * know him and that means we£ 3 must follow him. “He is become# my salvation.” If we are born? A again, as far as he is concerned,* 0 he has every aspect of our lives £ 0 saved. # a The word saved and salva-? S tion have the same meaning. The * 0 Greek noun soteria means salva- £ $ tion and the Greek noun sozoa A means save. These words de-# * note material and temporal deliv- * ? erance from danger, suffering.# * They also mean to preserve. 2 a When we repent for our sins and* 2 confess Jesus as our Lord (as in J 3 Romans 10:9 & 10), we have# * been made a new creature, (IIJ % Cor. 5:17). Then we know wey 0 have spiritual and eternal salva- jj 3 tion granted immediately by God. # A To receive all that salvation in-# 2 eludes, we must believe and trust £ 3 Jesus. The bible says it is impos- j 4 sible to please him without faith. I A (Heb. 11:6) Jesus said in John# 2 10:10, "He came to give us a J 3 more abundant life." That means, # * joy, peace, health, soundness, \ A preserving his body; (or the # 3 church), until he comes again to J 3 take us out. Continued next ? A week.
