The Rappahannock High School girls’ varsity basketball team lost a hotly fought contest to Stonewall Jackson Tuesday night. “It was one of those games,” Coach Gary Leake said afterward.
The Panthers offered a balanced scoring attack, with four members of the team scoring eight points each. Penny- Atkins, Terry Russell, Wendy Stringfellow and Angie Armentrout led the offense, scoring 32 of Rappahannock’s 45 points from the field.
