Best of Rappahannock Sept. 27 Local musicians Charlie Tompkins and Friends, Terry Waggener and Vincent Day, and Lorraine Duisit and Tom Espanola will be featured in a live production September 27 at 8 p.m. at the Gay Street Theatre, sponsored by the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community. Ticket prices are $4, $5, and $6. Harvest dinner at Flint Hill The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor a harvest dinner on Saturday, October 18, at the Flint Hill fire hall. The country ham and turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served from 5 p.m. Cost will be $6 for adults and $3 for children 12 and under. Fund drive scheduled The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department is planning its annual fund drive, with members in uniform going door to door for the next month. Any donations will appreciated.
Landscape show opening Middle Street Gallery will have an opening of the Landscape Show on Sunday, October 5, from 1 to 6 p.m. The show will feature the beauty of the Blue Ridge and other regions in oils, photographs, sculpture, paper, watercolors and pastel by gallery and guest artists. It will run through the last weekend in October.
