Weldon R. Burke
Weldon Russell Burke, 81, died September 17 at his residence at Woodville.
A native and lifelong resident of Rappahannock County, Mr. Burke was a retired rural mail carrier and livestock dealer. He was a member and deacon of Five Forks Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter Mrs. James Falls of Woodville, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.!,
Funeral services were conducted September 20 at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Hoover Heflin and Rev. Ernest Cornwell. Burial was in the Woodville Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Richard Burke, Wilson Burke, Roscoe Burke, Kenneth Fortune, Clifton Clark, A. F. Cannon, Emory Conners and Marshall Burke.
Rumsey Frazier Sr.
Rumsey Lee Frazier Sr., 69, of Triangle, died September 15 at Potomac Hospital, Woodbridge.
Mr. Frazier was bom May 28, 1917, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late James and Carrie Frazier Frazier. He was a retired self-employed painter.
Surviving are his wife Dorothy C. Frazier, one son R. L. Frazier Jr. of Front Royal, and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted September 18 at the Royston Funeral Home Inc., Marshall, by Rev. Danny Clegg. Burial was in Marshall Cemetery.
