Mrs. Miller suggested that “Someone’s got to be the buzzard - to bring the violations to light.”
Mr. Gooch suggested that copies of the Historic District Ordinance, enacted August 14, 1985, be placed in the library so that residents who work elsewhere and cannot go to the Clerk’s Office during regular business hours will have access to them. The board members agreed with Mr. Gooch’s suggestion. Mrs. Willis added that the town council had also approved a request to purchase reference books on house restoration and coloration, and that they would be donated to the county library.
