“It’s going to be an active session,” predicted State Senator Kevin G. Miller (R-26), when asked about his forecast for the General Assembly session which convened in Richmond Monday.

Echoing the sentiment of Del. Raymond R. (Andy) Guest, Sen. Miller said Friday that he intends to make the adoption of a state income tax adjustment - to offset the increased tax burden imposed by the federal Tax Reform Act of 1986 - his first priority during the session.
