A torrential rainstorm dumped nearly three inches of water on the Town of Washington within an hour Saturday afternoon. The Rush River flooded over the Harris Hollow road, and several long-time residents said they have never seen the rivers and streams around the town rise so quickly. □ The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at the Warrenton United Methodist Church on Thursday, May 28, from noon until 6 p.m. Its goal is to collect 90 units.
