Are you saved? Salvation is a package. The word Salvation comes from the Greek word Soteria. (The new testament was originally written in Greek.) Soteria means deliverance of material or temporal danger, preservation from sickness or disease, healing or health as well as salvation from God's wrath on the ungodly. Jesus died so we could have salvation or Soteria. Some perish because they have a lack of knowledge of what is included in the package of salvation or some even reject the knowledge that Jesus died for our physical and mental well being along with our spiritual well being. (Hosea 4:6). God longs for all to repent of sin and give their heart to Jesus. That is the first and most important step in opening the salvation package.
But He also wants us to live a full, healthy life while we are here on this earth. Jesus said in John 14:13; “and whatever you shall ask in my natne, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." Verse 14, "If you ask anything in My Name, I will do it.” Everyone that came to Jesus and asked to be healed, got what they asked for! Remember the leper in Mark, chapter 1, that came to Jesus? He kneeled down before Him and said; if you will, you can make me dean; Jesus said I WILL, be dean, and the man was immediately dean and whole. The leprosy departed from himl Jesus will heal you, if you ask Him to. He will make you newspirit, soul and body.
If you have not accepted Jesus as your Saviour and Lord, believe on Him and confess Him as your Lord. Repent of wrong ddng. Let Him turn your life to the good. Then accept the salvation package. It's beautifully wrapped and full of good things waiting for you!
