'Create Your Life' workshop

This workshop is an opportunity to get focused on what you truly want to do with your life so that you can make it happen. You will be guided on an inner journey that will help you to know and affirm your true self and thus your life goals. Methods for doing this on your own will be shared. Personal tarot card readings for each participant will provide individual guidance for your present challenge in this process. Covered dish supper

The Rappahannock Loan Closet will sponsor a covered dish supper on Saturday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Washington Fire Hall.

At this event the oil painting, dinner for two, a clock and four theatre tickets will be given away. Bring a covered dish and join Loan Closet members for an endorable evening.

Dodson family reunion

The reunion of Ernest and Neva Dodson will be held Sunday, August 7 at the Rappahannock Park, beginning at 12:30 p.m. Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish.

Childrens' art at Middle St.

There will be an exhibit of children’s artwork on display at Middle Street Gallery starting Aug. 5. Among those exhibiting will be Amy Joback, The Sause children, Rob and Van Debergh, Stephanie Tholand, Marshall Orenic, Elsie and Ariele Foster and Katie May.

Also being shown throughout the month will be new work by Gallery artists, including Moore, Drevas and Hoyer. The Gallery is open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
