Susan H. Harris

Susan Hawkins Harris, 30 of Elkwood, died July 28, in Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

The funeral was conducted July 31, at the Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper by the Rev. Lindsey Savage. Burial was in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton.

Mrs. Harris was bom in Warren County on Oct. 28, 1957, a daughter of Ralph Lee and Goldie Fox Hawkins of Brandy Station.

Surviving are her husband, Robert Augustus “Gus” Harris, Elkwood; one daughter, Gwendolyn Sue Harris, Elkwood; three sisters, Laura Mae Grigsby and Elizabeth Fincham, both of Brandy Station, and Retha Pullen, Culpeper; three brothers, Cleveland Hawkins, Amissville and Ralph C. Hawkins and Jerry Wayne Hawkins, both of Brandy Station.

Simeon Hutton

Simeon Davenport Hutton, 87, of Amissville, died July 27, at Fauquier Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Walter Hutton; two sisters, Virginia Green and Elizabeth Shumate, both of Front Royal; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on July 29, at Amissville United Methodist Church.

The Rev. Steven Parker officiated.

Interment was in the church cemetery.
