The Flint Hill Fireman’s Annual carnival go under way on Wednesday and continues tonight with the grand parade beginning at 6:30 p.m. The newly crowned Miss Virginia, Miss April Fleming will appear in the parade among many other numerous entries.
Plan now to attend each night. There’s fun, games, rides and entertainment for the whole family.
Saturday evening the grand prize, the 1988 Plymouth and other prizes will be awarded.
Eric and Jennifer Grove of Front Royal were Saturday overnight guests of their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Lee.
Mr. and Mrs. Ned Peirpoint and son Ned, Jr. of Alexandria spent Saturday and Sunday with the latter’s parents Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard.
Mrs. Irene Hamiliton returned to her home at High Point, N.C. on Sunday after spending a week with her mother Mrs. Moffett Brady.
