Congressional rep visits flff Congressman D. French Slaughter Jr. wHI send his district representative, Jane Clatterbuck, to Rappahannock County on Wednesday, Jan. 11. Mrs. Clatterbuck will be at the county courthouse from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. She will be available to talk with residents who have problems of a Federal nature. Rep. Slaughter also urges anyone who has an opinion, question or suggestion about matters which are being considered by the U.S. Congress to stop by. and speak with Mrs. Clatterbuck.
Talk on 'Historic Sperryville’
Charles K. "Pete" Estes will talk to the Rappahannock County Historical Society about "Historic Sperryville" on Sunday, Jan. 8 at 3 p.m. at the courthouse. The lifelong Sperryville resident will talk about the town's history, and offer some personal anecdotes as well. The public is invited to attend th is free event.
