Karen Downs
Mrs. Karen Sue Downs, 40, of Amissville died Dec. 25 at St. Lukes Hospital, Houston, Texas, after she suffered a massive stroke.
Mrs. Downs was born on November 19, 1948, in Warren, Ohio, the daughter of Michael and Margaret Kovach Kaibas. She moved to Virginia in 1983 and was employed by Culpeper Health Care Center.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Downs, whom she married on November 11, 1984; one brother, Michael Kaibas, Gatesville, Tbxas; and two sisters, Mrs. Carol Hen*|u, Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Barbara Jones, Hubbard, Ohio.
Funeral services were held at McClurkin Funeral Home in Girard, Ohio, on Dec. 30. Interment was in Belmont Park Cemetery.
